Makita GMT01Z Description
Trades of all kinds utilize oscillating multi-tools for a range of applications. The 40V max XGT® StarlockMax® Oscillating Multi-Tool (GMT01Z) is engineered for ultimate performance and comfort. Ideal for wood flooring, tile, plaster, sheetrock, wood, PVC, and a variety of other applications. The Oscillating Multi-Tool features a variable speed control dial allowing adjustments from 10,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute (OPM) enabling the user to match the speed of the tool to the application. It delivers 3.6° oscillation angle that is engineered for faster, more aggressive cutting and sanding. The GMT01Z is compatible with StarlockMax®, StarlockPlus®, and Starlock® accessories. It features a small diameter barrel grip for improved handling and added operator comfort. The Multi-Tool utilizes Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT®) for up to 85% reduced vibration. Convenience features include a large on/off slide switch with lock-on button for operator convenience, a built-in L.E.D. light that illuminates the work area, and soft start feature for smooth start-ups. The GMT01 features a compact and ergonomic design at only 12" long. XGT® is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40V max lithium-ion batteries. XGT® is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, allowing users to completely transition to a cordless job site. XGT® is equipped with advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication, and superior durability features to outpower, outsmart and outlast the rest.
